Cookie Policy
This document explains what cookies are, which ones we use on initialofferingmn.com, for what purpose and how you can control them. We work with Google Consent Mode v2, which means that no measurement or advertising cookie is activated until you give explicit consent.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. They help, for example, the site to remember your language, ensure session security or, if you allow it, measure site usage and display relevant ads.
2. Categories we use
We distinguish seven categories: strictly necessary technical, functionality, personalisation, analytics, ad storage (ad_storage), user data for ads (ad_user_data) and personalised advertising (ad_personalization). In the banner you can enable or disable each one.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google Consent Mode v2. By default, all advertising and analytics cookies are in ‘denied’ state until you interact with the banner. Only when you accept or adjust preferences does Google adapt its behaviour. We also use ‘ads_data_redaction’ and ‘url_passthrough’ to minimise the data sent.
4. Third-party cookies
Only when you accept may we load Google cookies (gtag.js, Google Ads), responsible for aggregated measurement and ad attribution. If you do not allow these categories, those cookies are not downloaded.
5. How to manage and revoke
You can change your decision at any time via the ‘Manage cookies’ link in the footer. You can also delete cookies via your browser settings; once you do that, the banner will reappear on your next visit.
6. Duration
The consent preference is stored for 12 months in your browser. Security and language cookies last as long as needed to keep the session. Advertising and analytics cookies have the durations Google describes in its public documentation.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if tools or regulations change. Any change will be reflected with a new date at the top and, where relevant, with a notice on the site.
